Best Corporate Event

This 2019 first time event in Dallas, TX featured National Corporate Band Maggie Speaks based out of Chicago serving as the house backing band for three celebrity artists, John Elefante (formerly of Kansas), Fran and Anton Cosmo (formerly of the band Boston and Randall Hall formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd all performing their hits at an outdoor Oktoberfest style party after a trade show and education session. Three amazing celebrity guests with lots of wireless frequency problems in a foreign city. Our team was up for the challenge.

Best Entertainment 2020

The American Cancer Society is #1 Charity Gala in Chicago, raising over $2.1 million dollars in 2019 toward cancer research and in excess of $35 million since the it’s inception in 2007. This creates a lot of pressure to raise funds at this level. This is a high society event with many obstacles like unexpected Teamster bills, missing final balance payments and a bunch of Barenaked Ladies running around. Who is up for the challenge? We sure were.

Best Festival 2020

CD and ME in Frankfort, IL is one of the most beautiful and scenic venues in the Chicago Suburbs. We created an outdoor summer concert series / festival in 2004 and just completed our 16th year for this annual series. We continue to refine our approach to take advantage of the uniqueness of this venue. We created an experiential event featuring an outdoor concert every Thursday from Memorial Day through the end of September featuring 19 different bands including 6 national tribute act nights and a national act celebrity sit-in with local legends Maggie Speaks for their 21st Anniversary Concert.

Lifetime Achievement Award 2020

This year, Dave has grown another program he began in 2017 called Celebrity Sit-In where he pairs famous singers from bands like Journey and Lynyrd Skynyrd with Maggie Speaks as the house band for private events. Dave was once just a face in a crowd of 20,000 cheering on these singers at stadiums. Now he employs them, produces the show and shares the stage across the country with his former idols.

This 2018 first time event in Scottsdale, AZ featured National Corporate Band Maggie Speaks based out of Chicago serving as the house backing band for five celebrity artists, Art Alexakis of Everclear, Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, Fran and Anton Cosmo formerly of the band Boston, Mickey Thomas of Starship and Steve Augeri formerly of Journey all performing their hits at the after-party of this Innovation and Technology Fair. Five amazing celebrity guests without a sound check in front of 1,000 guests. Our team was up for the challenge.

Best Fundraiser 2019

Fundraisers are challenging. This was a second year fundraiser with only one year of history to look back and rely on. Everything you do and every decision you make is critical in making the event profitable. In order to attract attendees, you need to provide value through entertainment and experience. We planned and executed this fundraiser in Los Angeles with celebrity artists Steve Augeri (former lead singer of Journey) and hip hop legend Warren G. We set and reached an ambitious yet attainable goal of raising $500,000 for our client, the FIDF.
