REVIEWS

This is the third time we have used Magnificent Events to book entertainment for our event that we host in Chicago every year. Once again, they have done a fantastic job recommending a great entertainer to fit the theme of our party. The musician was very professional, showed up on time and played the style of music we had requested. Thank you Magnificent Events for helping make our event a success again this year.

I have been working with Magnificent Events for several years now. Their entire team is professional in every aspect and they have made hosting large corporate events worry free because they are on top of every piece of pulling the event together. We have worked together on corporate events with 1,500 people to small intimate events in our backyard and each event has been outstanding because of their professional management of the event, not to mention Maggie Speaks is as good as any band anyone could find in the country. I would not host any event without pulling Magnificent Events into the mix. First class, great people and I look at them as my corporate partner for event planning and trusted friend to trust with my own wedding!

I’ve partnered with Mag Events for several years across multiple venues and a wide range of corporate, convention and social clients. From intimate gatherings to thousands of guests, ME consistently finds the right fit for the style and goals of the event. Their impressive repertoire of talent, comprehensive entertainment packages, as well as thorough customer service make me look the like the Rock Star to my clients.

We’ve had the pleasure of bringing performers – from musicians, to acrobats, to artists and beyond – to our events and they always fit the bill. Brett and/or Traci always listen to the tiniest of details when it comes to what we are looking for and make sure the entertainment meets our often very specific requirements. When it comes to fresh and exciting talent, I know that Magnificent Events will never disappoint.

In Memoriam of Christy Lynch

Christy Lynch lost her battle to cancer in the evening on July 30th, 2015. She was an amazing person who meant the world to many people. She will forever be missed. This is the one of the many ways we chose to celebrate someone who gave it all to every life she touched.

You’re only truly gone if you are forgotten… and she is one person, who will never be forgotten.

Dave Calzaretta wrote the following about her passing:

“So I have largely remained silent the past few days, but here it goes (this is long, but it needs to be for my own heeling and should you choose to read it in it’s entirety it will give you insight into the last few hours of Christy’s time on Earth)…

Yesterday, the World lost one of the good ones, my dear friend Christy Lynch. I think it is important to note that I didn’t say that I lost her, but the World lost her. Christy’s spirit, love and affection transcended just one person and touched everyone she came into contact with. We have worked together in one form or another since 2008. Our friendship started a few years prior to that when she regularly would attend Maggie Speaks shows. Because of her outgoing personality, we asked her to head up our street team and take pictures and gather emails at our shows. She did such a good job that we hired her on to handle our marketing and promotions on a part time basis later that year.

She is probably one of the only “part-time” workers that actually put in close to 40 hours a week though. She was that dedicated. Then in April of 2014, we made the leap of her coming on into the office as the Director of Operations for Maggie Speaks and Magnificent Events. We worked side by side in the office. Her title was basically code for “Dave, whatever we need to get done, I will figure it out.”
